Iodine has been used for thyroid help. It also opens the Third Eye. Plus it rids the body of certain heavy metals.
People who go swimming expose themselves to the possibility of iodine depletion. This is bad because swimming is one of the best ways to exercise. The chlorine in the water helps to deplete iodine levels in the body. Even the water has fluoride that complicates matters even worst. In either case your Pineal gland becomes calcified as a result of this exposure.
The simple solution is to take an iodine supplement. Needless to say, get the supplement from the health food store. There are those who prefer to get the iodine form foods. For that, I recommend buying seaweed snacks. They are made from the same ingredient as sushi wraps. Some is known as kelp. Other sea vegetables go by other names. Some people go as far as bathing in seaweed to open up the pineal gland. If you do not live by an ocean, then you can always purchase sea vegetables and throw them in the tub. It doesn’t hurt to do third eye opening rituals during the bath.
Other people take iodine to combat thyroid problems. You see, there are three main glands; the Pineal, the Pituitary, and the Hypothalamus. Of course, the body has other glands, but these are the Master Gland that regulate the most important bodily functions. Metabolism is one of the main functions of the Master Gland. If the gland is calcified, metabolism is slowed. Your belly may swell. At any rate, the thyroid is affected. This is not good, because it can lead to Graves disease among other complications. If one gland goes bad, it can affect organs and multiple parts of the body. For this reason people take iodine supplements.
Iodine supplements decalcify Master Gland, address metabolism issues from on by thyroid dysfunction and rid the body of certain heavy metals. If you are not taking iodine supplements, it would be a good idea to eat sea veggies. This is especially true if you have a sluggish digestion system or poor metabolism.
